Client: Hormel Foods, Black Label Bacon
The Black Market is an extension of the Black Label Bacon website project our team did earlier in the year. The project added a virtual reality experience that works in a mobile browser without the need of an app (via Cardboard or just with the device’s screen).
The VR environment also doubled as the main entry point for the Shopify powered ecommerce website we created so Hormel could sell bacon directly to consumers. This project is a grand example of what an integrated team can do.
Our partner for this project was Haus in LA. The 3D environment itself is built using WebGL by Haus’s team. The store was a Shopify Plus site that uses a minimal, customized, black theme and interfaces with the VR environment via the JavaScript API.
