My name is Justin Mueller and I'm a creative technologist and photographer based in Minneapolis, Minnesota. I specialize in developing user experiences and interfaces that are both efficient and user-centered, with a focus on delivering effective results, and increasingly, in leveraging AI and LLM-powered tooling to push what small, agile teams can build and ship.
As a BFA graduate from the University of Wisconsin - Stout with a background in multimedia and graphic design, I have a passion for pushing the boundaries of digital media. In my current role as the creative technology director for BBDO Atlanta, I work on a variety of technical projects, both in-house and with partners around the world.
I work hands-on with modern AI platforms as part of my day-to-day workflow, using tools like Claude Code, OpenAI Codex, and GitHub Copilot to accelerate prototyping, write and refactor code, and explore new product ideas while blending these tools with deep experience in web and interface development. I also run an array of local LLM environments using Ollama and open-source models for private, on-device AI workflows integrated with home automation and personal projects.
Throughout my career, I have had the opportunity to work with a diverse set of brands, including:
Outside of the office I try to travel often, bike, practice my photography, and keep up with the latest in technology.
